Tamas faces three-match ban over 'elbow' on Vaughan during Carrow Road draw

Gabriel Tamas faces a three-match ban after being charged by the Football Association.
The West Brom defender appeared to elbow Norwich debutant James Vaughan in the final minutes of the 1-1 draw at Carrow Road.
The Canaries player was fuming after the incident which left him needing to see a plastic surgeon after the match.
A statement on the FA website read: 'The FA has today charged West Bromwich Albion defender Gabriel Tamas with violent conduct following an incident in his side's game at Norwich City.
'The Romania defender was involved in an incident with City's James Vaughan towards the end of the fixture at Carrow Road on Sunday 11 September.
'Tamas has until 6pm on Tuesday 13 September to respond to the charge. If the player admits the charge he may accept an automatic three match sanction.
Asked if he thought Tamas's swing of an arm was deliberate, Norwich boss Paul Lambert said: 'Yeah, it's not great. You've got to get big moments in games right. We never got that big moment. The penalty given against was pretty soft, especially considering what happened to James. It's a penalty.
'I went to see the referee. He didn't see it but you'd think someone would have. James has gone to see the plastic surgeon. It's a bad one. It's gone right through his lip. It's not one you can just stitch up. He's got a real nasty gash.'
West Brom manager Roy Hodgson disagreed with Lambert's take on events.
'It was an unintentional elbow,' he said. 'It was unfortunate. I would be disappointed if Tamas faces disciplinary action - I don't think that would be necessary.'
Vaughan later tweeted: 'Back home! plastic surgeon sorted me out! think i will have 2 bite my lip over the 'incident' o wait already done that!'
West Brom confirmed they would make a decision on Tuesday over whether to accept or contest the charge.
