Premeir League 2010-2011

Winners: Manchester United - To all the Manchester United haters, I here ya! Yes I’m one of them but look at the squad Fergie has assembled this season. They have the most talented backline in the whole of England accommodating the likes of Rooney, Hernandez, Nani, Ashley Young. Even though De Gea and Lingergaard are still pretty questionable between the sticks, the idea of seeing Sneidjer in red devil jersey just sends shivers down my spine.  Unless Chelsea sign a few more players, the title will be wrapped in mid April.

Runners Up: Chelsea [FA CUP WINNERS] - This was a tough one because I also really fancied Manchester City to finish as runner ups. I don't know anything about Villias Boas; but it sure seems to me that the man knows what he is doing. With the signing of Lukaku, Romeu, and the return of Daniel Sturridge. Chelsea are building blocks around there old guards, and if the real Fernando Torres stands up they might just snatch it from United. Though the right back and holding midfielder position is still something Boas needs to work on.

Third Place: Manchester City [CARLING CUP WINNES] - The only reason I gave Chelsea the edge over City is sometimes Mancini is way too defensive. Gareth Barry, De Jong and Yaya Toure don't need to be together on the field. Going to defensive in the big games will hurt City in the long run. Tevez will leave sooner or later and many people see that as a problem, El kun is the answer. He hasn't got Tevez's work rate but if Aguero and Dzecko get the chance to play together week in week out. I can see them scoring at least 35-40 between them. Oh yeah and then there is Balotelli HAHAHA

Final Champions League spot: Liverpool - To be honest I did not agree with the signing of Andy Carroll, and now Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing. As Charlie Adam and Jose Enrique go, Kenny has done well. Liverpool has 15+ days to sign a center back or they can kiss any title ambitions good bye. They will edge Arsenal and Tottenham for fourth because overall they have a much stronger squad, but I still have no idea how they are going to line up this season. I’d like to see Aquillani play some part in the rotation, but we probably will see him leave by the end of August.

5th: Arsenal: It pretty much official Cesc and Nasri will be gone come September, and Arsenal still are woeful at the back. Yes Wenger you probably have the most talented youngsters in the country but unless you buy experience you will be fired at the end of this season. I don't want them to sign Jagielka (personal reasons) but Phil or maybe a Bruno Alves will give them a chance at 4th and maybe the FA cup. I honestly feel they don't need to sign another attacking player, as Ramsey or Wilshere can push up for Cesc and they have got Gervinho replacing Nasri. Why doesn't Wenger look at a Montolivo or Scott Parker type player instead?  The Mata deal seems to be dead but wouldn’t the gunners faithful love to have him at the Emirates.

6th: Tottenham - With or without Modric Spurs will still finish in the top six. Even though Harry Redknapp has said he will field youngsters for the Europa League and focus on regaining fourth place, there signings don't really say the same. Crouch, Defoe, Pavluchenko, and Robbie Keane? Scary? NOT! They were rumored with Rossi then Llorrente and now Bryan Ruiz. Spurs need a world class striker to go along with the likes of Vaart, Bale, and Lennon. They should have gone for Upson as a cover for King/Gallas.

7th Stoke - With rumors of Barton and Bendtner surrounding the Britania, Stoke seem to have a really strong squad. Upson and Woodgate are signings that if fit will make Stoke a really tough team to beat home, especially with Delaps throws. They are going to be a big pain in the ass for the big teams. I fancy them to go deep in the FA cup as well.

8th Everton - If the toffees start fast enough we might be able to push Spurs for 6th place. Moyes has the same squad from last year due to financial troubles, but I have a feeling he will wheel and deal some last minute deals. If Barton doesn't sign for Stoke he will be wearing blue! Rodwell if fit will play an important role this season and if Everton start slow they will finish in the top ten no doubts. Possibilities are that Mikel Arteta will leave and if Phil Jagielka is sold, Moyes will have some money to spend and I’m sure he will spend it wisely.
